Two examples given, one for a clean guitar tone and another for a more complex distorted guitar tone.

  • DI Guitar Recording Practices



    Chris and Jody tackle the concept of recording Guitar using Direct Input techniques. Generally reserved for electric guitar, but can also be used for acoustic guitar if it’s equipped with pickups. They talk about the different methods of DI that you can use.   • Tuesday Tip: DI Bass Recording


    In this Tuesday Tip Jody walks you thru recording Bass using a DI box and also going direct to your audio interface with a ¼” cable. Both methods of recording the bass get a similar sound and helps the mixing engineer when the levels are at a reasonable level for Re-Amping purposes.
